Re-opened

Our Museum at 58 Johnson Street, Chatswood has re-opened for 2023. We are open from 1 – 4 PM on Sundays.

The Museum contains a variety of displays from the local area including:

  • Royal Dalton pottery from the old Coroma factory in Victoria Avenue
  • Reproductions of the kitchen and laundry of our Federation House
  • Coachbuilding using timber, iron and leather
  • Details of some of the last tanneries in Sydney
  • Relics from radio and television production (the North Shore once housed Sydney’s transmission towers
  • Temporary exhibition on the schools of Willoughby
  • Products made in Willoughby such as Tarzan’s Grip, “Meccano” knock-off and Speedo garments
