The festival will focus on resilience and the forward-looking spirit in the context of the recent Voice to Parliament referendum.
In the face of deplorable backwards steps in ‘Closing the Cap’ the way forward is a ‘Makarrata Commission’ to supervise a process of ‘agreement-making’ and ‘truth-telling’ between governments and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
