JOURNAL & NEWSLETTER
There are many publications associated with the heritage of Willoughby. In many of the articles on this site you will find reference to specific books related to the topic.
In addition, there are a number of “classic” books that cover the History of Willoughby. These are listed under the tab (Publications) Historic.
Under the (Publications) Current tab you will find a selection of items available for purchase.
In addition, the Society has produced two major sets of historical articles:
The Journal of the Willoughby District Historical Society was launched in March 1979 to publish the historical research undertaken by members into various aspects of Willoughby’s history. The effort required to establish the museum led to the abandonment of the Journal in 1989 after 21 issues were published. The Journals are kept in the Museum for research purposes. Recently an Index of these Journals was composed.
